PRODUCT STORY
Say hello (again) to the Ralph Sampson 70, a shoe rich in history and retro vibes. We're bringing it back to the year 1983 when Ralph Sampson signed with PUMA as the number one NBA draft pick, making him the highest profile basketball signing since Walt "Clyde" Frazier. Before he received his signature PUMA trainer, the eventual member of the Basketball Hall of Fame first played in a pair of prototypes, which were based on a basketball model from the '70s. Today, we're reissuing the prototype shoes under a bold new name, the Ralph Sampson 70. The shoe comes in both a mid- and low-top model and boasts bold branding and leather detailing.
